Description
The Hotel Marseilles is an original Art Deco style boutique hotel with typical architecture and design features of the 1930's. Miami Beach was honored to have the contribution of a famous European Architect, Robert Swartburg, born in Bucharest, Romania who designed both the Marseilles and the Delano Hotels. The Marseilles has almost all the peculiarities of the Art Deco style - vertical emphasis and a combination of flat and curved walls, use of glass blocks, neon, cove and porthole ceiling lighting and cast iron railings. While you stay with us, discover the Marseille's delightful art deco ambiance and see how the past has been preserved to its original beauty.
The Marseilles has a fantastic ocean front location in Miami's South Beach Art Deco District, on Collins Avenue, just 1 block from Lincoln Road Shopping Mall and 2 blocks from the Miami Beach Convention Center. Just walk outside and enjoy the most talked about beach in America, enjoy the spectacular world-renowned nightlife, South Beach's sidewalk cafes, fabulous restaurants, night clubs, designer shops and cultural events. There is an abundance of nightlife, with fine dining and dancing at one of the local discos or jazz clubs, located all within walking distance of the Marseilles Hotel.
