The Warwick Regis Hotel is a rare jewel two blocks west of San Francisco's Union Square, internationally known for theater, dining, and shopping.
The eighty-room Warwick Regis Hotel is rich with the décor of the grand-style European hotels that is her heritage. Elegant, yet with a quality of personal service that can only be found in a small intimate hotel.
The building has remained a cherished San Francisco historical landmark since its opening in 1913, under the original name The Maryland Hotel. After completing two-and-one-half year renovation, the hotel reopened in January 1988. We celebrate over eight decades of history, culture, and tradition in Union Square.
In January 2002, The Warwick Regis Hotel completed a renovation throughout the hotel while maintaining its classic look. Highlighting the lobby is a silver-leaded dome with an antique chandelier, which hung in the chateau of the late designer Laura Ashley. La Scene Café and Bar, located off the lobby, adds first-class dining to this perfect hotel experience.
All rooms are furnished with four-poster or crown-canopied beds with hand-carved headboards, antique English and French armoires and writing tables, and private Italian marble bathrooms.
Our guests enjoy complimentary morning newspapers Monday through Friday, overnight shoeshine service, off-site fitness center, and twice-daily housekeeping service throughout their stay.
To allow our guests to relax in refined elegance, each room is furnished with amenities, such as grooming items, monogrammed robes, hairdryer, honor bar refrigerator, direct-dial telephone, individually controlled thermostat, remote-control color cable television, on-demand movies and Nintendo, safe deposit box, and umbrella.
Pampering our guests throughout their stay, these services are available: valet-parking service, 24-hour room service, 24-hour concierge service, same-day laundry and valet service.
